PROBLEM: Burning smell after shot
SOLUTION: Reapply KI rail lube to flight rail, string, cables and/or cable slide. -
PROBLEM: Crossbow safety will not move into ‘FIRE’ position when uncocked
SOLUTION: 1. When crossbow is uncocked, lift and hold Anti Dry-fire release on trigger box. 2. Move safety to ‘FIRE’ position. -
PROBLEM: String and/or cables are cut or fraying
SOLUTION: Do not use crossbow. Replace string and/or cables. Take your crossbow to an authorized KILLER INSTINCT retail dealer or contact Customer Service at 810-626-3026 or at contact@killercrossbows.com for assistance. -
PROBLEM: String, serving and/or cables are fuzzy
SOLUTION: Apply thin coating of rail lube on string, serving and cables and rub lube into string and cables rubbing between your fingers. -
PROBLEM: String serving is coming apart or separating
SOLUTION: Do not use crossbow. Replace String or reserve string. Take your crossbow to an authorized KILLER INSTINCTTM retail dealer or contact Customer Service at 810-626-3026 or at contact@killercrossbows.com for assistance.
